Information about Ordering from Martha McLean Miniatures

Ordering, Packaging and Postage Costs and HST

Prices are in Canadian dollars. There is not a shopping cart component to this website. Please send me an email to info@marthamcleanminiatures.com or click on the contact me link at the top of the page and let me know what you are interested in along with your address so that it is possible to quote the postage costs.

Within Canada, the postage cost of small tracked parcels average $18.00. Harmonized Sales Tax will be added to all orders shipped within Canada at the specific rate for each province. It is not applicable when mailed to International customers. Signature upon delivery can incur added costs with Canada Post which can be added if desired by the customer.

To the USA, Airmail parcels average $22.00 with insurance to $100.00 on the declared value but no tracking. Expedited or Xpress parcels with tracking and insurance mailed to the USA average around $24.00 to $28.00.

To the UK and Europe, Airmail parcels sent average from $20.00 - $30.00 with no tracking. Traceable and insured parcels vary depending on each country and are considerably more so please email for a quote for your country.

Shipping – Orders will be shipped as quickly as possible upon receipt of payment for the order. All orders will be sent with the full value of the contents declared to Canada Post. Martha McLean Miniatures will not be responsible for any damaged or lost packages shipped without insurance. International customers will be responsible for any taxes, duty or customs fees for your own country.

Payment – Payment can be made by personal cheque within Canada, Canadian currency money orders/bank drafts or securely through Paypal. Martha McLean Miniatures also takes Visa and Mastercard over the telephone.

Scale – All items showcased on this site are handcrafted to one-twelfth scale unless otherwise noted. Please note, the dollhouse miniatures on this site are adult collectables and not suitable for children.

Photos – You will be purchasing the actual item that you see in the photograph but please be aware that colours vary on different computer screens.

Returns – Returns will be accepted if an item has been damaged in shipment. Please notify me immediately upon receipt of your parcel so that a claim can be made.

Privacy – Any information given to Martha McLean Miniatures is strictly confidential. The information given will be used only for the purpose of filling an order.
